Silent Night
Rated PG: mild violence, language, some mature concepts.
Bruce Wayne/Batman, Dick Grayson/Nightwing, Selina Kyle, Barbara Gordon, the Scarecrow, and all other important characters
belong to DC Comics/Time Warner and were created by Bob Kane.
I am using them without permission, however I have not and don’t expect to make money from this.
Specific credits: the main plotline is adapted from 'The Man Who Ended Batman's Career' (Detective 247, 1957),
'Robin Dies at Dawn' (Batman 156, 1963), with elements from the 'Batman: Prodigal' story arc (various, 1994/95) and other sources.
Old relationships are renewed as Batman faces his greatest enemy - his own fear.
This is the last story set in the AU created in 'Birds of a Feather', based
on the Batman comics of the 40's and 50's with some elements from the present-day version.
It includes only the Golden/early Silver Age characters:
principally Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, Alfred, Commissioner Gordon, Kathy Kane (the original Batwoman), and Barbara Gordon.
Think of it as taking the Batman and Robin of the 1940's, modernizing them, and giving their story a twist.
Complete.
